Born on May 3rd, 2004, amidst the leafy environs of Rajgangpur in Sundargarh district, Odisha, this lanky midfielder, known for his swift moves and graceful stickwork, has caught the imagination of all with his meteoric rise and the brilliance that he displays on the turf.

Always the athletically mischievous kind, Rosan Kujur got hooked on the hockey bug at a very early age, impressed and inspired by some old footage that he saw of Indian greats such as Dhyan Chand, among others. He started training at the tender age of 5, and the rest, as they say, is history, as his sensational emergence has truly caught the eyes of all. In fact, he won his first trophy at the age of seven, and since then he has never looked back, creating a legacy weaved by umpteen national and international glories. 

He was the captain of the Odisha U-18 team that won a silver medal at the prestigious 4th Khelo India Games in 2023.  He also played a very significant role in powering the Indian Men’s Junior team to a bronze medal at the very prestigious 12th Sultan of Johor Cup U-21 International in October 2024. He was also a very critical part of the U-21 team that became champions of Asia by winning the Gold Medal at the 10th Men’s Junior Asia Cup in 2024. In short, when it comes to making the waves, Rosan Kujur is truly ticking all the right boxes.

Known for his very fluid, robust, and seamless style of play, Rosan Kujur weaves set pieces like a dream, relentlessly counterattacking, with his sights set on the opposition’s shooting circle, always. His link-up play is also immaculate, having garnered enthusiastic praise from seasoned fans and observers alike.
